“It is impossible to refuse”. 10 best cars in the Mafia series

Cars in any part Mafia The most important role is assigned. They are a symbol of the era, whether it is puffy and sluggish pre-war cars, frisky sports cars of the 1950s, or aggressive maskers of the 1970s.

At the wheel we conducted the lion's share of the whole game: we transported goods, participated in races, scared from the pursuers and simply rode around the city. Each car fascinated and remembered in its own way.

Remembering all this and reviewing trailers Mafia 3, We have chosen the ten best cars in the series: those that we liked in the past parts, and those on which we can’t wait to ride in a new.

Mafia: The City of the Lost Heaven

The thirties. The time of slow machines, so monumental in appearance that it seems that the factories then produced raw pieces of metal. But it is in their sluggishness and rudeness that lies the whole charm. And speed – it is for races.

► in the game: Bolt Ace Fordor.

► in life: Ford Model T Tudor.

With Ace Fordor, everyone is familiar with the mission "Party with cocktails". And for most it was the first and last time they got behind the wheel of this machine. Because this fight is so slow that, with weak acceleration, it hardly rises to the Juliano bridge. And if you beat the car well, then driving on it becomes just unbearable. Worse only to fly (haha!) from the pursuers.

► in the game: Schubert Extra Six Fordor.

► in life: Chevrolet Master Fordor.

"Schubert" is convenient to manage, fast enough and durable, and in a creamy with red color and looks very good. This is not to say that he stood out with something special, but for us he became a favorite car in the game. At Schubert, I wanted to leave every mission, but soon he began to lose in power to new developments like Celeste Marque 500.

► in the game: Brubaker 4wd.

► in life: Miller Racing 4wd.

On Brubaker 4wd, we had to ride the same unfortunate race: some still remember it with an exceptionally strong word. And although this is an all -wheel drive car, not everyone was able to curb it. Only experienced pilots of car systems coped on the move, and some even connected the steering wheel. As for the race, then it was still a test. Someone mastered her only when the developers released a patch that reduces the complexity.

► in the game: Lassiter V16 Roadster.

► in life: Cadillac V16 Model 70 Roadster.

The convertibles of the thirties were distinguished by an oblong body close to the limousine, with streamlined forms descending from the hood, and a common style striving for futurism. In Mafia, one of these cars belonged to the head of the criminal clan.

When you get behind the wheel of Lassiter in order to fulfill the order of Don Salieri, the car shows itself as a very masterful sports car. And although he is heavy in corners, we really like his speed and appearance.

"Transaction of the century"

You can’t leave without attention and another car from Mafia: The City of the Lost Heaven – Bolt Model B Pickup. Its real prototype is 1932 Ford Model B Pickup.

The key role is played by this pickup in the Mission of the “deal of the century”, when the main character after a furious shootout in a multi -story parking lot has to be fired from pursuers on powerful cars. The Bolt Model b Pickup itself is quite far from the concept of “powerful machine”: it barely drags along a flat road, and even in a hill, and even with several boxes of smuggling alcohol in the back of the body, and completely begins to lose speed.

The sluggish pickup, like an uncontrollable racing car, forever remained in the memory of those who at least once passed the first part of the series.

► in the game: Bolt Model B Pickup.

► in life: 1932 Ford Model B Pickup.

Mafia 2

Another era, other cars. Some cars-the same Schubert-still drive through the streets of Empir-Bay in the Sorokovs, but in the fifties give way to nimble sports cars.

► in the game: Smith Custom 200.

► in life: Ford mailine.

Joe's car, which he acquired after joining the mafia family. In missions, the choice often dwell on it due to good controllability and not bad speed. And after several modifications, Smith Custom has already calmly touched Kopov and easily left the chase. At the end of the game, he was the most popular car among the townspeople Empire-Bay and met at every step.

► in the game: Smith Thunderbolt.

► in life: Ford Thunderbird.

Ford Thunderbird was positioned as a "personal car". Smith Thunderbolt c Mafia 2 appeared in a similar light. On it I just wanted to ride on the roads of the city and show off in front of the ladies. And although the car did not develop breathtaking speeds on the freeway, this was compensated by the pleasure of the control and the feeling that you are maintaining a luxurious car.

► in the game: Smith 34 Hot Rod.

► in life: Ford 5 Window Coupe.

Hot people and Briolins are an integral part of America of the fifties. Once Vito even had to put up a gang of such guys with a gel hair with a gel. They also had a couple of Smith 34 Hot Rod with his partners, cars that showed their violent rebel disposition, broke away and almost got on its hind legs. To leave this hot-car, alas, the developers did not allow. Apparently, because it was added to the garage with addition Greaser Pack.

Mafia 3

An integral feature of that time (late 1960s-early 1970s) were Mascars, aggressive cars, rebellious in nature and from that unsafe. The accident with their participation at one time was a mass phenomenon. Drivers simply could not cope with their violent disposition. But it is the danger and brutal power of the Mascars that attract motorists.

Mafia 3 came out recently, and we have not yet had time to admire the roads of New Bordo plenty. And therefore we will talk about the prototypes of the most interesting cars from the game.

► in the game: Samson Drifter.

► in life: Pontiac GTO (1968).

A series BubblesBet Casino of Pontiac GTO cars gave rise to Maslkars as a class when in 1964 the manufacturer ignored the General Motors restriction on the power of the engines. Other car conheres followed his example, and since then, almost every car that came off the assembly line was more powerful than the previous. The race continued until the fuel crisis has occurred, which forced the company to moderate the appetite and return to the production of weak, but economical cars.

The 1968 model, on which Samson Drifter was founded, stood out with a new, gross-looking corps, as well as optional "headlights" and a 350-horsepower engine.

► in the game: Berkley Stallion.

► in life: Ford Mustang 390 GT (1968).

Ford Mustang 390 GT is rightfully considered a symbol of car chases. Such a glory was brought to him by a scene from the film "Detective Bullit", in which Steve McQueen on Ford is pursued by Dodge Charger '68. During this tense chase almost ten minutes, cars jump along the steep hilly roads of San Francisco and enter the turns of the tires, letting the smoke from under the wheels. I would like the chase on Berkley Stallion in Mafia 3 on New Bordo to be no worse.

► in the game: Smith Pickup.

► in life: Ford F-100 Custom Cab.

Pickups can also become popular in Mafia 3. They just at that time began to lose the status of farm cars: more and more such cars appeared on city roads. And given that the Ford F-100 was considered a strong and durable car, we hope that in Mafia we can transport valuable goods to Smith Pickup without fear of raids.
